Welcome to my portfolio! I'm a multimedia reporter specializing in digital and print reporting and currently work as a freelance reporter in Los Angeles, California where I cover travel, lifestyle, and personal finance news and features.
Previously, I worked as a digital news reporter for Travel + Leisure, where I produced daily travel and lifestyle content and in-depth travel features.
During my time at T+L, I also worked on a centralized news desk at TIME, where I wrote lifestyle, news, and travel content for TIME, Fortune, Money, InStyle, People, Travel + Leisure, and more.
I have also worked as a reporter for Business Insider, BBC Travel, and with NBC’s Today Show, where I worked with the local NBC I-Team to produce an on-air investigative piece regarding how health conditions affect government funded housing policies in New York.
Features and curated lists are some of the stories I enjoy most, where I can incorporate original photography and video with compelling stories.
Some of my favorite topics to explore include hidden natural and man-made wonders, the history behind longstanding establishments and trends that exist today in aviation and beyond, and the business players and entities that shape our current travel market.
Additionally, a variety of my pieces focus on providing expert advice to those in search of unknown perks and tools they can utilize throughout their journeys.
Having received a master’s degree in multimedia reporting from the Arthur L. Carter Journalism Institute at New York University, I am trained in shooting and editing video packages, conducing on-air interviews, and producing stories for both digital and print publications.
Editing programs I regularly work with include Adobe Premiere CS6, Final Cut, and Avid. I also have my own camera and equipment that I regularly utilize to produce original photographs and videos used in published content.
